Resize and Email Your Digital Photos Using Windows XP

1. Open the My Pictures folder.

The first thing you need to do is to open the My Pictures folder in the My Documents folder in your computer. Following step number two opens the Send Pictures via Email dialog box. In the said dialog box, choose the Make All My Pictures Smaller option to resize the digital photos you wish to send via email. If you want to specify how small you want your digital photos to be resized, just click the Show More Options link. Click the OK button to move on to step #4.

4. Send the resized digital photos.

Clicking the OK button prompts Windows XP to automatically activate your default email program, open your compose message window, and attach your resized digital photos. You just have to enter the recipient’s email address, the email’s subject heading, and the message’s content before you can finally send the email.

Enabling text messaging in Google Chat

To use the experimental text messaging feature of Google Chat, you have to enable it in the Settings menu. On the upper right side of the Gmail homepage, click on the Settings link to open the Gmail Settings menu. Once the Settings menu is opened, click on the Labs tab to view the list of experimental features from Gmail Labs. Because the text messaging feature is on latter part of the list, you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page in order to view it. After locating the text messaging feature, click on the tiny circle before the ENABLE option to activate the Google Chat SMS feature. Remember to click the SAVE CHANGES button at the bottom of the page to successfully activate the selected feature.
