With Gmail coming up with a bunch of Labs features almost every week, Yahoo! Mail is getting back on track by launching new and improved features to help you manage your emails with much convenience. Because the long list of Yahoo! Mail’s new and improved features cannot fit into a single blog entry, this article will only discuss the features that are developed to help you compose a message. Here are some of the recently launched and newly improved features of the Yahoo! Mail compose page.
* Automatic message saving
Isn’t it annoying when your Internet connection suddenly hangs or computer unexpectedly shuts down while you are in the middle of composing a very important message? Well, it is (especially if you have already typed enough words to complete an entire chapter of a novel). To save you from the hassle of re-composing your message, the wonderful team from Yahoo! Mail developed the Auto-save to Draft feature that automatically saves your message into your Draft folder as you compose it. As always, your message is automatically removed from your Draft folder once you successfully send it to its rightful recipient(s).
* Visible CC: field
Another new feature from Yahoo! Mail (although it is quite hard to notice) is that you no longer need to click on a link just to openĀ the CC: field in the compose page. In fact, you can immediately spot the CC: field below the To: field when you open the compose page. The only thing left for you to do is to insert the email addresses of the people you wish to send copies of your email to. Is the BCC: field next?
